Message | Typically, when a nationalized industry is privatized, shares are sold on the open market. Often times workers are given the option to buy these shares before they are put on the market, but farm workers are not known for having large sums of capital lying around in case they needed to invest in, you know, keeping their farms in their hands. We hope the SRP will continue to support economic justice through social ownership of agricuture. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
