Bill: OOC/RP: P.d.l. 07/4434: Parliamentary Privilege

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fronte Democratico - P.L.

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4435

Description[?]:

IC:
Luigi Turrini, FD President:

The criminal actions by parliamentarians should be judged by a judge like all the citizens of Istalia, but it is also true that completely eliminate the "privilege" can put the MPs in vulnerability, so we propose that the Senate should be able to revoke this privilege. The vote of the Senate, in order to revoke this, must be at least 2/3 of the members.

OOC: This is another proposal for the extension of the power of the Senate like that in the appointment of the High Court judges.
