Message | Mr. Speaker This is the most confusing Union Reform Bill I've ever read. We are both hyper empowering unions to let them run our economy down, which includes critical and essential workers like Doctors, Firefighters and Police Officers, whom we cant fire for our personal safety, but completely neutering those unions by empowering employers to fire any employee that goes on strike. We will be voting against this until the quasi socialists in the Consumers can figure out what exactly they are planning to do with out economy. Message | Mr Speaker, I forgive the Consumers Party for not knowing the law as it currently stands. I would advise them to read the Revised Worker Strike Reform Bill (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=576567). The current law is protective of both the workers' right to strike, as well as the employers' right to fire employees who strike without reasonable cause. That bill is one of my greatest accomplishments in my career, of course I would be remiss if I didn't mention the great cooperation from the New Liberal Party, the National Party and the no longer existant Scientian Enclave, and I would hate to see it destroyed in a bill like this. We encourage all parties in this house to reject this bill. Dylan Jourdain MP for Fairview Prosperity Shadow Minister of Finance Deputy Leader of the Official Opposition |
