Bill: Proposal to Ease Adoption and Access to non-Abortive Contraception

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partido Verde Sombrio

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4436

Description[?]:

"So many families want to adopt children, and so many unplanned, undesired children are generated! This is bad not only for the families and children but for the nature too, as overpopulation is a central cause of all environmental problems. So, this bill proposes to ease the adoption process, reducing the currently draconian bureaucracy in this area, and to give a small subside to contraceptives, to disincentive unwanted pregnancy. Reducing the adoption bureaucracy will save money for the subsidisation of contraceptives, so the impact over the national budget would be minimal.

However, the Dark Green Party is against abortion, except in emergency cases as risk of life for the mother or sexual violence - we don't want the murdering of the innocent. So, we are satisfied by the current legislation on this subject."

Francisco Salazar de Oliveira Garcia
Chairman of the Dark Green Party

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost.
