Date | 01:18:15, August 09, 2018 CET | From | Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK) | To | Debating the CAA 001 - Liberalised Economy Act |
Message | We oppose. Removing the Government from the economy of Kalistan like this would cause a catastrophic collapse of the economy, because there is nothing in place to replace the public sector, which this act essentially abolishes. We Yield. Maria Reina-Rodriguez Premier of the Republic |
Date | 01:40:13, August 09, 2018 CET | From | Radical Liberty Union (RLU) | To | Debating the CAA 001 - Liberalised Economy Act |
Message | We oppose articles 3 & 4 on the grounds that they give private businesses state funding, essentially forming an arrangement where select CEOs get money poured into their pockets from the state. There's too much potential for corruption there. While we support Article 10 in principle, in reality, nationalized businesses form a huge part of Kalistan's economy, and there is more to be done than simply privatizing those businesses. |
