Message | Mr. Speaker, Article 1 doesn't nullify the tax bill. It allows exemptions for truly Hutorian companies. We will basically tax those companies who want to do business in our country but not actually invest in it. Jack Hill Chancellor |

Message | Mr. Speaker, As the opposition has chosen not to weigh in on this bill and the USPH corporate tax increase seems likely to pass, we will bring this bill to a vote so as not to have any time of higher tax rates for the companies described in Article 1. Message | OOC: So IRL, this bill would mean that Canada would tax Nike at 20 percent, but Roots at 3 percent. Nike could then get tax credits for paying for employee's kids to go to college, for paying for healthcare, and get to offset all provincial taxes. AND if the tax rate goes below 5 percent again (and it surely will) then the whole thing becomes null and void. |

Message | Mr. Speaker While we disagree with the Corporate Tax increase which made this Bill necessary we appreciate that the Chancellor and his Party are trying to reestablish business confidence in Hutori which we appreciate. Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
