| Mutanabbian Law on Alcohol Senators, The health, social, and spiritual risks of alcohol are well known. It is hypocritical for us to ban the sale and consumption of dangerous substances when the most dangerous widely available drug is freely available with minimal regulations. Since a proposal to fully ban the consumption of alcohol is unlikely to be accepted, we propose the introduction of a government monopoly on the production and sale of all alcoholic products, as allowed under monopoly legislation. This way we will be able to have greater control over the amount of alcohol consumed in the Republic and we will be able to reduce the negative effects of alcohol.
