Message | Mr Speaker, I remember being called irresponsible by the Conservatives when I proposed a huge cut in defence spending, a cut which would have had minimal impact on our ability to defend our own country. Now we have them proposing to completely privatise the building of military equipment. Who wants to run down our defences now? Aaron West (TUSC - Finance Spokesman) |
Date | 07:02:31, August 15, 2018 CET | From | Social Democratic Party | To | Debating the Conservative Platform 4438 |
Message | Mr Speaker, The radical Socialists attempting to be seen as friendly towards defense is nothing short of laughable. Mr West proposed cutting 50% of the defense spending expecting there to be no consequences. Laughable. Ebba Busch Thor Leader of the Social Democratic Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, It's become quite clear to me now that Miss Busch Thor is incapable of understanding the radical idea I brought to this diet as Finance Minister. That radical process called arithmetic. How anyone can take what was actually a 35% cut in our bloated defence budget and then turn that into a “50% cut" is anyone's guess. Message | Mr Speaker, The government, the people and the heroes of our military remember dearly you trying to cut it down to 35. Not by 35%. The lies spread fast and quickly when you're cornered. It all comes down to the simple fact that TUSC wants to gamble with our economy, our military and our society. We want stability. For God's sake resign! Message | Mr Speaker, The honourable Lady asserted that we proposed to cut defence by 50%. That was untrue. She also asserted that we proposed to cut defence to 35 billion Luthori Pounds. Firstly that is untrue, we proposed 38 billion, and secondly if we had proposed 35 billion that still wouldn't have been a 50% cut. A 50% cut would be 30 billion. I'm happy to play schoolteacher and give the honourable Lady some lessons in arithmetic if she needs them? The rest of it is simply her Party Political point scoring that we are becoming used to. Her party is gripped in chaos, she stabbed the most successful Chancellor of my lifetime in the back for her own career, and now she's the big promoter of stability?!?! Give me a break. Luthori was poised in a delicate situation attempting to protect civilians in Aloria suffering from genocide, and so she decided to stab the Chancellor that was leading our country with cross party support in it's defiance of the abhorrence of slavery. Finally, Mr Speaker, the honourable Lady seems to think that constantly saying me and Mr Sullivan should resign. Her entitled little majesty should realise that her constant paddy attacks in this diet have absolutely no consequence to the support we have from the Trade Unions, Working Class people and Socialists all over Luthori. Message | Mr Speaker, We can mark words all day if that is what the honourable gentleman wishes. Aloria was voting on reversing all those laws thanks to Ms Teodurschu, and the Bill reversing those policies is set to pass. I'd suggest the honourable gentleman check his own party instead of ours. The social democratic Party has always been one of stability and security for the nation. We wish to see you and your partner resign Becuase it is your childish behavior that makes cooperation impossible in this diet. Speaking of Aloria, it took months for your party to comment support for Ms Teodurschu actions against the Aloria goverment. It took even longer for the liberal to comment, the rest didn't voice their support at all. TUSC under Sullivan leadership has become opportunistic, populist radical party that is in desperate need o change. Ebba Busch Thor Leader of the Social Democratic Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, The fact that the honourable Lady uses Populist as a negative say everything we need to know. The people of Luthori are simply an irrelevance, march on to whatever the Queen Bee wishes. She also called us radical... We've never tried to hide it Mr Speaker, we're a radical party. We always have been and we always will be. Being called opportunistic by the honourable Lady was my favourite part of the contribution she just made however, Mr Speaker, because I think I can safely say she has won the irony award for this year. This is the same honourable Lady who stabbed a Leader in the back for personal advancement. Let's not have such claptrap as that (Cheers from TUSC backbenchers). On the point about cooperation, the honourable Lady would do well to remember that when she became Leader of the SDP, I myself said I hoped this would lead to greater cooperation between our two parties once again. It is she, Mr Speaker, who put her personal grudges ahead of the national interest. And whatever you “wish" to see, it's our Party not yours. Keep your nose where it belongs.
