Bill: Proposal to Allow Both Selective and Non-Selective Schools
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partido Verde Sombrio
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4438
Description[?]:
"The current laws which force all schools to be selective, i.e., to only admits students which comply to a certain criteria, as for example passing on an academic test, will leave hundreds of thousands of children out of school. However, we think that the existence of some selective schools with an elite, specialized education can be an incentive for parents and students to study harder and prepare the best talents among Tukarese children. So we propose to allow the two kinds of schools in order to benefit from both meritocracy and equality." Francisco Salazar de Oliveira Garcia Chairman of the Dark Green Party |
