| "Since this Assembléia can't reach to a consensus about the proper law regarding selective schools, but at the same time the majority of our compatriots are against the current, restrictive laws in which only selective schools are allowed. So, we concede a return to the previous status quo, although we still intend to allow selective schools together with non-selective ones, providing there is no discriminatory means of selecting students, only merit-based methods."
