Due to the harmful tendicies of polygamy against women and men alike, the practice will not recognized by the state. By recognizing polygamous marriages, it appears that one does not condone it, and therefore must not be recognized. Polygamy breeds cult like tendencies and must not be encouraged for the safety of women. |
