Message | Mr. Speaker Why is the Opposition suggesting that unions be given the leeway to take the entire economy hostage and bringing the economy to a grinding halt at the very slightest mention of labour strife? Message | Mr Speaker, Need I remind the Ultrackian Socialists once again of the Revised Worker Strike Reform Bill 4427 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=576567)? This piece of legislation was worked on for months before being passed by this house. It protects the worker's right to strike, while also protecting employers whose employees go on strike without a reasonable cause. That bill was one of the greatest accomplishments of my long political career and I take personal offense every time the socialists put forward a bill like this. I urge all parties to vote against this bill. Dylan Jourdain MP for Fairview Prosperity Minister of Finance Deputy Leader of the Royalist Party of Hutori |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
