| Authorities and Powers of the President of the Dorvish Republic (and successive heads of state of Dorvik): Article I - The President of Dorvish Republic will retain many of the ceremonial duties of the head of state. The President of Dorvish Republic will be considered to be the head of state of the Dorvish Republic can act ceremonially and acts as protector of the Dorvish constitution and guarantor of national sovereignty. Article II - The President of Dorvish Republic will be also responsible for foreign relations, he is the chief representative of the Dorvish state abroad and has the right to accredit and receive ambassadors, grant amnesties, open embassies and consulates and generally manage foreign affairs as necessary for the Dorvish state; Article III - The President of Dorvish Republic will sit as an ex officio member on the Dorvish Privy Council and making all decisions related to its function and operation (http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Privy_Council_(Dorvik). The Dorvish King retains sole executive power of the Dorvish Privy Council; Article IV - The President of Dorvish Republic will also be granted the status of Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Dorvish Republic (Dundorfian: Oberbefehlshaber) which will empower the President of Dorvish Republic to make all decisions related to the armed forces and the security apparatus of the state as necessary and is authorized by the Law on the Defense of the State and the Authority of the Supreme Commander (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=578871); Article V - The President of Dorvish Republic is mandated by law to take all necessary steps to re-establish law and order if public order and security is seriously disturbed or endangered; Article VI - The President of Dorvish Republicr is authorized to appoint and reject appointment of executive positions within the Dorvish state with approval of respective ministry representatives and the head of government unless absolutely necessary to maintain law, public order and security; Article VII - The President of Dorvish Republic will reserve the right to use powers traditionally exercised by the head of state even if not specifically mentioned within this act of the national legislature. |
