MessageI actually really like the 100 seat system we have now. If we wanted to increase it, make it some really even number like 500.

Why 351?

Message500 might be ok, but I still think 100 is better

MessageMe too, I am just saying, with 100 seats its easy to calculate how many votes are needed to pass kind of deal. 51. If you want more seats, that might be fun and I could be convinced to vote for it.

But, if its a number like 500, then its an easy 250 being half, and an easy 333 for 2/3

Rather then 175.5 and 234

MessageEh, I have this weird feeling that the seats should be an odd number. But I can change it to even if that's the only concern. I'm just trying to reduce the chances of one party holding over half the needed seats to pass a bill.

MessageIf that’s what you want to do, then go for it. I honestly don’t think its going to change much, it will be our current seats multiplied by a number.

Id prefer it be 500. But if you want 351, id vote for that too

MessageSo changed. Actually, I only picked a lower number because I expected more support for that.

MessageBecause I like a nice small parliament where everyone is heard. Not a loud parliament where everyone has to wait in line for days in order to speak.

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
