We want to re-introduce nation-wide rent control to create equal renting opportunities for students and low-income households and combat issues of extreme rent inflation in some of our cities, especially Port Golavia.

Cap on housing rent wont solve the problems the PSP aims to resolve, it will make it worse.
Government interference and market distortions will lead to shortages for certain housing segments, which will than require even more regulations and more distortions.

In its current form the CDUL will vote against this proposal.
