Description[?]:
Luigi Turrini, FD President: The productivity of Istalia is affected by the fact that the retirement age has been raised to 66 years because it is clear that over 60 years the productivity of a worker decreases and consequently affects the productivity of the whole Country. Message | Francesca Vespa-baldassare, ULD That is the worst explanation that I've ever heard. Do you really believe that? Do you really believe that young people will be more likely to find jobs with the retirement age decreased? Well, no. The statistics clearly say that that isn't the case; first of all, they will be more burdened with taxes for social spending. Second of all, they will be less likely to find jobs, actually, since job creation is fluid, and decreasing the amouunt of people in the working age in the market will impact the number of employees in companies; this bill will kill small enterprises which were revived under our rule, which means that young people will lose jobs. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Istalians will be able to retire earlier if Istalia can organise her society in such a way as to make it possible. It all depends on our priorities. What do we want? Profits for big business and people being forced to work into their old age, or social justice and people being able to retire in dignity? Ludovico Pontecorvo Chairman of the Partito Comunista |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
