Description[?]:

Giorgio Salviati, Spokeperson of the Presidency of the Republic:

"Mr Speaker,
Hon. MPs, President Bontempi, after debating with the Vanukean Government, would like announce you that Vanuku formally asked to Istalia a concrete support to defend the Jelbanian Confederation from the Deltarian Red Menace, at least, the areas still not under the Deltarian influence and the so called People's Democratic Republic of Jelbania.

To assiste Vanuku, Istalia will send:

- 1 Aero-Naval Group (1 Supercarrier, 1 LHA, 5 Missile Cruisers, 5 Multirole Frigates, 3 Electric Silent Submarine, 2 Nuclear Attack Submarine), which will deploy:

- 18.000 soldiers with all necessary equipements to be deployed mainly in the coastal "Free Republic" and in the "Western Tribal Areas" and alongside the borders of the People's Democratic Republic of Jelbania and Deltaria".

However, knowing very well the fact that all these events are organized and driven by Deltaria, President Bontempi proposes also to apply serious sanctions against Deltaria to be lifted once that all its forces will withdraw from Jelbania.
Sanctions will provides:

-deny any diplomatic and official recognition to the Federation of Deltarian Socialist Republics (FDSR) and to its Government and Institutions comprised all its members and employeed. The same should be applied to the People's Democratic Republic of Jelbania (PDRJ).

- considers the Govenrment of the FDSR and to all its members and employeed as responsable of a veritable military invasion of the southern territories of Jelbania, of an attempt to undermine the territorial, political, social and demographic unity of Jelbania and of the destabilization of the continental peace. The same should be applied to the PDRJ.

- imposes trade ed economical sanctions, including a total embargo, on Deltaria and the, so to forbid to export goods, services, funds or investments in Deltaria and imports of same kind incoming from Deltaria. The same should be applied to the PDRJ.

- denies the validation of Deltarian visa, in incoming as outgoing, for all the nationals as well as foreign citizens except if there is a request of political asylum. The same should be applied to the PDRJ.

- retires the visa authorization to any Deltarian citizens currently in Istalia demanding them to leave the country in three weeks and expelling immediatly the diplomatic and governative officials of Deltaria present in Istalia. Those in violation will be subject to criminal persecution by part of the Istalian Justice. All those who will demand political asylum and the official recognition as political refugees are excluded by these provisions. The same should be applied to the PDRJ and its citizens.

- refuses to authorize landing of planes and docking of ships of Deltarian origin, except if there is an emergency, in that case the crews and the passenges will be sent back in Deltaria as soon as possible while the merchandize will be seized, unless comes a request of political asylum. The same should be applied to the PDRJ and its citizens.

Any istalian citizen, organization or firm in violation of this disposition is punishable by fines and prison sentences, commensurate with the gravity of the infringement, as well as can also result in a trial for minor treason for acts against the national interest.
If the Parliament give their authorization for a special bill, presented by the Government as well as by a Party, Istalia is authorized to organize or partecipate in humanitarian initiative and also mission in favor of those Deltarian and/or PDRJ's citizens who feel themself menaced by their regimes and/or are trying to escape the dictature.
Finally, the Istalian Government reserves the right to authorize activities in support of the pro-Democratic forces in Deltaria and into the PDRJ: the people involved in such activities and their actions are not punishable by the provisions of this law.

Thank you"

MessageMr. Speaker,

This proposal is illogical, reactionary and appalling, almost tantamount to a declaration of war upon the good people of Deltaria and Jelbania. We should be forming links with these great peoples and learning from their journey towards socialism, not getting into a completely unnecessary hostile situation like this.

MessageFrancesco Cannizzaro, AR:

"Mr Speaker,
so we have to understand by the words of Hon. Pontecorvo that a journey towards socialism means establishing a dictature?
How to call, in fact, a country which bans any form of political freedom? Any form of expression freedom? A country which determine a single party as the only able to organize itself and partecipate to the political life of a nation and that it's even placed inside the constitution as a part of the veritable public power, how to call this nation?
Here the problem is not the "socialism", the problem is the dictatorial and authoritarian regime put in place, which condemn any form of free expression! This is the major cause of troubles and damages for the Deltarian citizens themself, which has to live in fear just to express freely themself! It is unacceptable and unethical towards these people!"

MessageMr. Speaker,

The previous speaker does not recognise the difficult that his perception of liberty and freedom is defined entirely by the dictates of the capitalist socio-economic system.

True freedom can only come through the dictatorship of the proletarian, and that is precisely what is being developed in both Deltaria and in Free Jelbania. We should be assisting them with this brave experiment and learning from their experiences, rather than declaring them enemies.

MessageMister President,
what was said by Mr Pontecorvo is shameful. This man has just claimed to be really free, a man must live in a dictatorial state. Mr Pontecorvo, I am sorry for you, but here in Istalia you will never be free because Our country is and will remain a democracy. So we are in favor of sanctions against Deltaria and People's Democratic Republic of Jelbania and to send aid for Vanuku.

MessageMr Speaker,
Mr Pontecorvo has lost his mind. He's openly supporting the PDRJ and Deltaria. How can the PC support a dictatorship which bans free and fair elections. Mr Pontecorvo only supports oppressive one-party states.

Hence, the PAC supports the sanctions placed on Deltaria and the PDRJ.
