Description[?]:
Simone Dandolo, AR: "Mr Speaker, I really hope that finally this unfair law will be changed so to adeguately defend the workers of this nation. It is not up to the employers to decide and determine if a strike is reasonable. A strike is organized by the Trade Unions, with a majority vote of all the members, it is not a individual action. Unlikely the Trade Unions could organize a strike without reasonable reason. For what usally a strike is organized? Better working conditions? Better salary? Better Social Protection? Better contract and/or contractual conditions? Are these "unresonable reason"? Obviously, for an employer, which first of all wants reduce the costs and increase the benefits, any demand in this sense is "unreasonable", well... actually it's against his interests! But we are talking about women and men, who works to live, to give a future to their children, to realize their dreams... we are not talking about computers or industrial machinery! It is not acceptable to profit on the skin of a human beings, it is not ethical oppose their demands for the money! We have to reverse this law and it is for this reason that AR will support the PdSI candidate for the next elections. It is true, there is the "risk" to work with the orthodoxity of the Communist Party, but... AR has always been open to work with everyone committed to enhance the social and economic rights of our citizens, our workers, our people. Thank you" |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
