MessageThis deal is an affront to democracy, the country has overwhelmingly voted for laissez-faire economic policies, mostly electing conservative and libertarian politicians, why do the Conservatives continue to insist on bending their knee to hardened communists?

MessageThe country has not voted for overwhelmingly lassiaz faire economic policies.

Just because the Reform Party claims that the mantle as "sole Laissez Faire Party" don't mean it has captured the majority. In fact, as you can see by the vote count, the majority is held by Parties with "Regulator" scores: The Conservatives and the Socialists are both known as "Moderate Regulators" and "Moderately Big Government" Parties. It looks like the majority of the votes went to Regulation and Big Government. And the only reason that the Reform Party holds the Plurality is because the SP and the Conservatives split the vote of the majority.

Kalistan is NOT a free Market country. We have for thousands of years tolerated market principles because the Private Sector does some things better than the public sector, especially in the realm of consumer goods. But we have NEVER been a Laissez Faire Country. The Reform Party is wrong here, and to form a government composed of Laissez Faire Parties would be an obvious rejection of the will of the majority of the population in Kalistan.

We have agreed to work with the Conservatives on the basis of their support for Kalistani Institutions. In this, the SP and the NCP are absolutely consonant. True Conservatives value the institutions of the Nation, and the Country's Heritage and Tradition. The things that the Reform Party has attempted to abolish are institutions which predate the Republic. The SP has sworn to protect those institutions against all comers, and we are happy that the NCP has taken up that struggle as well against those who seek to abolish with no thought whatsoever to what replaces it.
