Erlingland is a nation based on Northern England, specifically Northumberland, County Durham, Cumbria and Yorkshire. The
nation takes its name from the Eorlingas ("the people of Eorl"), a Dundorfic (RL: Germanic) people who, from Luthori (the game's
equivalent of England), crossed the Luthorian Sea to settle in what is now Erlingland during the 7th century.

While the game population is stagnant at 99 million, the roleplayed population of Erlingland should be considered to be around
8-10 million, similar to Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, or Sweden.

– 86% Erlingish (Northern English)
– 5% Dundorfian (German)
– 3% Indralan (Chinese)
– 6% Other
