Message | 1. We support. Citizenship carries with it both privileges and responsibilities. We feel that, among those responsibilities is a knowledge of and a demostrated desire to become part of the nation, other than a stated goal of mely enjoying the privileges. 2. We oppose. We believe that the right to conceal a weapon protects not only those who carry the weapon from crime, but also those who choose not to carry a weapon. 3. We support, but with the caveat that it applies to conventional domsticated animals. We would support some limited regulation of exotic animals which may end up in state custody as a result of short-sighted owners. 4. We support insofar as it represents a step in the right direction. We feel that desecration of the flag by individuals is a protectef form of political speech. But we also feel that the image of the flag is in the public domain and, as such, free to be used for any pursposes, including commercial ones. 5. We support. We feel that parks (i.e., recreational green spaces, as opposed to national or historical monuments) are matters of local interest rather than federal. We always favor giving matters of local interest to local governments. 6. We support. Similarly, we feel that the power needs are maters of local interest and best left for local governments to decide. 7. We support. We welcome political refugees, and favor awarding them protection but not financial support. Ours is a land of great opportunity for those willing to achieve it, but we do feel that achievement is a matter of personal fulfillment rather than a basic human right. 8. We support. We do not desire absolutely closed borders, and we view visitation and immigration among our strenghts. But we do feel we have the right to confirm the identities of those who enter, and deny entry to those we view as undesireable or security threats. |

Message | I support number 8. and number 3 since exotic animals are covered in another section of law. The rest I dont like so much... |
