Bill: Malivian Flag Compromise Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Malivian Labour Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4465

Description[?]:

OOC: Malivia's current flag is the old flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a real-life Caribbean country. This poses two issues. 1) That it verges on or actually violates Particracy's rules; 2) That Malivia deserves better - its own unique national flag.

IC: The Malivian Labour Party hereby proposes the adoption of a new national flag for Malivia. Green represents prosperity, humanity, earth and nature. Blue represents the skies over Malivia and the seas which surround us. Yellow represent civic society and duty, as well as our commitment to liberal democracy. In the centre is the coat of arms of Malivia, representing two Malivian women wearing traditional dress and performing a traditional ceremony.
