MessageWe would be tempted to vote for this bill, but we would like to understand the reasoning behind the act first.

What is the purpose of the information concerning biological sex along side the gender identity? I mean to ask, for what purpose will this information be used, and if none, for what reason is it imperative that it be divulged?

MessageAs we have no additional information provided, we will vote no. It may not alter the outcome of the bill, but we would go on record noting that in matters of gender identity, biological sex is not the most important criteria, and we are not clear about why that information is needed. It is not like medical treatment for appendicitis is different for a biological man or a biological woman. And no person who was born a man will ever go in to seek gynecological services now that she identifies as female.

Consequently, this piece of information should not be required, and could be construed as an invasion of privacy. We will oppose, though we might have been persuaded otherwise.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
