| In recognition of the substantial importance motherhood has been in supporting a strong Kanjor, the Medal of the Kanjorien Family ("Médaille de la Famille kanjorienne") is hereby introduced. Preamble: As a visible sign of gratitude of the Kanjorien nation to children-rich mothers, the State President establishes this Medal of the Kanjorien Family. The Medals shall be awarded annually on the second Sunday in May, Mothering Sunday or Mother's Day. Conditions 1. Recommendations or applications for the award must be deposited at the local town hall. An enquiry into the family will then conducted. If the enquiry reports positively, the final decision on whether to grant the award belongs to the prefect of the commune. 2. This award will always be open to mothers raising families alone, and to other single parents and legal guardians but these will only apply in cases of widowhood or abandonment. 3. The medal is only granted to divorced parents in the most exceptional circumstances. 4. The medal may be awarded posthumously, provided that the application is made within two years of the recipient's death. Medal Classes - 1st class, Gold Cross: eligible mothers with eight or more children - 2nd class, Silver Cross: eligible mothers with six or seven children - 3rd class, Bronze Cross: eligible mothers with four or five children |
