Bill: Reform Smoking Act of May 2201

Details

Submitted by[?]: Proletariat Revolution Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2202

Description[?]:

Rather than force people not to smoke in certain venues, the government will loosen the current law, but maintain the previous standard for its office as an example by which the country can follow. The previous law too much of the civil court's time in resolving issues. This will provide the groundwork for a better implementation of anti-smoking across the nation.

If the government leads by example rather than forcing, perhaps this round will be successful.

People will find a way to circumvent the law. Rather than punish the majority, it is better to let them watch and learn by example.

Further, those who are of age of majority should be unrestricted in their ability to purchase the product.

However, an age limitation will help parents and educators ensure that future generations learn the dangers and are restricted so that they learn before they try.
