Message | "Religion is a private thing, therefore it should stay out of the public sphere. Something that our bills ensures. Frankly its quite worrying that the UHD can't see how forcing kids to pray and making blaspphemy a criminal offence isn't a attack on both free speech and individual liberty. Let's have a run-down of the effect this would have an people; Everyone would be FORCED to wear religious clothing Everyone would be FORCED to pray in school Everyone would be FORCED to be a part of the state religion (Wich also is an offence to religious freedom) Everyone would be FORCED to dress according to the state religion And last but not least, saying something that goes against the rules of the religion would be considered a criminal offence. This bill is authoritarian and frankly - Un-democratic." Xavier Durent |
