Description[?]:
Article 1 The full subsidisation of all farming would be highly beneficial for Baltusia and would allow all farmers to produce more, We propose the setting up of voluntary farming cooperatives to increase production and decrease poverty, all the farms would be controlled by the farmers themselves and would only lightly be overseen by the state, those who choose not to join cooperatives may keep independent regulated farms that follow a regulatory code. Article 2 Until any doubts about the safety of GM crops have been satisfied we Propose a ban on their production and sale to allow our scientists to research them better. No one would eat something if they didn't know what it was as it would be potentially dangerous. |

Message | Mr Speaker our party is debatting this bill and will decide soon but we don't the problem is the idea of modifying the genetics of plants, we believe the problem is wrongly do it. Like we when modify certain cereals to make them resistant toward a pesticide so we can spread more of the pesticide without affecting the recolts. these GMO only serve as excuse to multiple the use of pesticide. But modifying a cereal, to make their plant resistant agaisnt diseases or some insects would not be a problem. Personnally. I love this bil and I am certain our minister of food and agriculture is waiting for it Ruby Grant 28 PLCA, Agriculture Speaker |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Whilst we are in favor of entitling farmers of our nation to a subsidy, we believe that a helping hand should only be given to those who are on the brink of bankruptcy or have begun showing signs of such. With the state automatically assuming control over farms, this is a step too far. Once again we see the two extreme factions of the UDP promoting communism, a system that would systematically destroy a system that we have worked over three decades to construct. We will fiercely vote against any big government proposals that these factions put forth. Senator Dave Rockwell (UDP-R) Senate Majority Leader |

Message | Mr Speaker If I read correctly. the Bill say farmers will stay in control of their farms. or am-I blind ? I did not put this bill. I am simply that I personnally believe this bill is a good idea for the country Hoverer it is truth that it would be a terrible idea for the unity of the UDP. Our party is pretty much torn on this bill. we are still discussion. Ruby Grant 28 PLCA, Agriculture Speaker |

Message | Mr Speaker After reading the bill, multiple times, the PLCA has voted to to oppose the bill. it do not please me, because I am certain the cooperatives would have been good for the country. but we are worried about severals matters. We are worried about the unity of the UDP We are worried about the goal of this biil. worried that this promote intensive agriculture, which we oppose. Apparently this bill aim to would allow all farmers to produce more. But do we really need our farmer to produce more. Its not ecological to take the most ressources as we can from earth. Intensive agriculture tend to ruin the soil and if we want to build a durable agricole system for multiple generation, we must keep the quality of our soils as high as possible. I though the secretary of environment would approve this project of law. but she rejected it. Ruby Grant 28 PLCA, Agriculture Speaker |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
