Bill: Legitimist Manifesto
Details
Submitted by[?]: Legitimist Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4472
Description[?]:
These are the political goals of the Legitimist Alliance as written down in the year of our lord, 4473. Article 1: The restoration of the Hohenfels branch of the house of Adlerberg-Villayn to imperial power. The original claim of house Hohenfels is stronger than that of house Steuart-Carmichael in our opinion due to a more direct line of descent from the last legitimate Adlerberg empeor, William I. Article 2: The addition of a new amendment to the constitution, banning the political ideology of republicanism, thus protecting the monarchy from further attacks in the near future. Article 3: The expulsion of all religious officials and missionaries not affiliated with the Holy Luthori Church from the empire. Article 4: The political and dynastic independence of the Holy Luthori Empire from the commonwealth, and the expulsion of all it's representatives within the empire. Signed Hiram H. Harrow, Lord High Councillor |

Message | Mr Speaker The Chairman of the Liberal Republicans voices real concerns, it is true. But remember this; Republicanism is an alien ideology to the empire, a system created by outlanders and enemies of the crown. It has repeatedly divided this nation and led to murder and terror magnitudes higher than anything this law could ever achieve, this idea does not sow the seeds of terror, nay it removes the root cause of it. As for the issue regarding foreign and alien religions and missionaries, it is justified to protect the integrity of the Church. Only an infidel would not want to defend the Holy Mother Church, and we should not allow outlanders to openly mock OUR church in such a brash manner as to insinuate their inferior heretical supersitions as more legitimate than the Church I serve the best interests of the empire your grace, i suspect Chairman Clinton serves a more base cause. Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
