| We of the New Progressive Party of Pontesi propose to bring democracy back to Pontesi. To do this, we propose a great change of the current executive and legislative branches. The following shall take effect immediately upon the passage of this bill: -The Head of State shall be directly elected by the people and shall also be the Head of Government. -The Head of State shall hereafter be known as the Foederatum Praeses(Federal President). -The National Flag shall be changed to an older design that we believe represents our country well. A design of the triband of black, white, and purple colors with two swallowtail cuts on the end and the symbol of the Hawk. -Government employees shall hereby promise political independence when appointed to a position. -The number of seats in the Senate shall hereby be increased to 499. This change ensures that our nation is represented well. |
