that Budger is crazy
We are slashing at more then 50% a minister, slashing our spending education, all to increase the defense spending by an absurd ammount all at once.

There is no way, the government can correctly organise a defense department modernisation in 1 years. that's ridiculous. Our party is not here to stop defence modernization, but we think we should do it correctly, by investing carefully over the years. Not like this,

Our former secretary of environment had all difficulties of the world to get 2.5 billions, why should defense suddenly be given more then 110 billions, without any check, who are we in war with ? Lodamun ? Kalistan ? who's going to attack us ?

The Defence Modernisation Progran has not even been announced yet, and yet the Democrats are claiming we are doing it in a year. Maybe they need to sit and wait for what the program will entail and our own timeline when the Secretary of Defense releases it.

As for the issue with funding; its shocking what happens when you have a truly united Party, by comparison to the "United" Democratic Party.

MessageMadam Speaker,

Maybe the Republicans have to understand that a plan should be proposed before asking for money. We are literally forced to vote without understanding your plans, because the DoD is running "late" with the modernization program.

It's shocking what greediness can do. The Republicans really amaze me, it's easy to be have unity if your main core value is thirst for money and power.

We urge the Department of Treasury to explain every single penny BEFORE proposing a budget bill.

If the Honorable member of the UDP wants a full breakdown of the budget; the Secretary of the Treasury is more then happy to go through it, either here, in committee, or privately one on one. They need only ask as is their right as a Member of this Congress.

It is non sense to ask for that ridiculous ammount of funds, before even presenting the plans to the congress.
it is also non-sense to slash the government spending by that much, how many baltusia will fall victims to theses reckless cuts ?

As we havent cut government programs, and as the private health care industry is alive and well in Baltusia there will be no cuts to the care our government provides, which is supported by State models. Healthcare was grossly overfunded and bloated and was cut. Note that even with the cuts we've made we are still saving Baltusian money to the tune of 100 Billion Dollars which we plan on returning to them through Tax Cuts... a proposition all Baltusians would welcome.

MessageMadam Speaker,

Boosting the Defense budget was one of the key campaign promises of the Farnsworth Administration. Unfortunately we never came close to implementing this new budget due to our Administration being constantly plagued by the recklessness of the Communists. We are glad that the Republicans are implementing these changes and in a show of bipartisanship, vote in their favor.

the Farnsworth never presented their plan to increase the defense spending. Healthcare was adequatly funding, considering the numberous problems related to healthcare our population face. Now with reduce spending come cuts in progams, cuts in services. Which services are going to cut ?
