| We hope that the deputies of Liberté et Egalité will support what's right. Before the colonial invasion, Kizenian men and women practiced marriage fluidity. The National Legion supports the return to cultural norms of traditional Kizenina marriage practices. Building on the recent passing of the Cousin Marriage Recognition Act, we hope that the government will support continued progressive and decolonial developments. As seen in the Zyldavian Times/Kizenian Star, rumors of support for polygamy in our Chamber of Deputies have generated great hope among liberty-loving lovers across Terra: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?p=141528#p141528 These marriage tourists are spending countless dollars. They are a godsend to our tourism industry. We believe it is time to go further than merely decriminalizing polygamy. We must legalize it and grant marriage certificates to polygamist families, giving them equal civil rights to monogamous ones. Yes, the churches and some moralists have complained, but in time they will get used to these changes. |
