| Othman Kassis, PND Whip, Nurseries, unlike primary schools, are not a necessity and hence do not need to be provided by the government. We can focus more of our budget on higher quality primary and secondary education if we leave the nurseries to privates, which in terms of quality will do an even better job than the government. Obviously, we cannot leave less fortunate families to their own means, hence we will subsidize it on a case by case basis. |

Current: The government leaves development of nurseries to the private sector.

With this reform many medium-low and medium families will face serious problems: without subsides many of these people will choice not to put into nurseries their children and many will have the problem to go to work without know where or to who leave thier children. Not all the people have parents which can take care of the grand-children. The public choice should be maintained!" |

| Message | Othman Kassis, PND Whip, We believe in funds reallocation to improve our primary and secondary education which are much more inportant for the development of the child. The Medium income families will also be more than happy to give their children to better schools in the long run. Moreover, we want to promote family values where the parents spend more time with the children instead of nurseries, making nurseries an option but at a price. |
