| President Cefin Lloyd's Statement: We are prepared to take action against authoritarian, anti-democratic regimes across Terra. Solentia is another example of a country where there has been total disregard for human rights, especially the rights of minorities. We will follow the lead of Kizenia by placing a trade embargo on Solentia. BILL This bill imposes a trade embargo on Solentia This places a restriction on the trade of ALL goods with Solentia. This bill restricts Alorian nationals from travelling to Solentia, unless they have a licence from the Foreign Affairs Office. This bill will pass with a simple majority. The trade embargo will last for five years, after which it is the responsibility of the Foreign Affairs Minister to renew the trade embargo and no second vote in the Senedd will be required. |
