Bill: Rent Relief Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2202
Description[?]:
The government has a very long record of a very bad performance at building and managing large estates of public housing. The government's policy of building houses, putting people on huge waiting lists and then ordering them into the location chosen by bureaucratic busybodies is not working. It would be much better for us to empower our poorest citizen with rent subsidies to allow them to choose the housing THEY want from within the private sector. Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
