Details

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4479
Description[?]:
Mr.Speaker, The Liberal Union Firmly believes that Market Forces, and not the Government, fix the prices of services and we believe that providing phone lines free of charge are of great burden to the nation's finances and hence we believe in allowing Telecom Companies to charge for the services they provide and this proposal would limit the Government's Role in Telephone Services only to subsidising the rates for low income families Thelma Schneider, Leader of the Liberal Union |
