Description[?]:
The National Railways Act (NRA) of 4478 lays out a national plan for the development of an advanced, comprehensive, safe, punctual, and efficient system of rail transport in Dankuk. The objective of this legislation is to construct a railway system that can service the entire nation, urban and rural. Furthermore, it is the objective of this legislation to expand availability of public transportation and to make it more appealing for use than private vehicle transportation. Stage 1 of the NRA will focus on modernization and improvement to the current Danrail high-speed rail line that connects most all of Dankuk's major national cities. Stage 2, beginning concurrently with Stage 2 but persisting for a longer period of time, will focus on new rail development through state-owned Danrail as well as through private rail corporations, which will be eligible for subsidy and, where relevant, joint development with Danrail. Stage 3 will focus specifically on rural rail lines that connect outer villages and small towns with their nearby cities. Private companies will be encouraged to take contracts for this work and development plans will be explored for the construction of new communities around these railways. |
