If we are to accept refugees fleeing from disaster, conflict and oppression (and we fervently beleive we should), it must surely be in the best interests of both the refugees and the wider society of Vanuku to help the newcomers to integrate. This will help minimise any racial strife and allow them to become full and productive members of society. |
