Voting deadline: December 4479
Description[?]:
The trade embargo on Kafuristan has reached its fifth year now. The combination of our trade embargo, the collapse of Kafuristan's communist ally the DDR, and the arms and travel restrictions put in place by New Endralon appear to have had success in curbing the more extremist actions of the new Kafuri government. The Kafuris have legislated numerous reforms to improve public safety and human rights. However, they continue their civil war against supporters of the previous government. In recognition of the progress made by the Kafuris, but conscious of the atrocities they continue to commit against their own citizens, we propose to legislate to continue the trade embargo for a further 5 years or until such time as the recommendations of the IGA report have been met. Specifically, 1. International observers are allowed to monitor the next election 2. Basic human rights are guaranteed to ALL citizens 3. The Kafuri government formally apologises for its past actions, including the killing of 3,500 civilians |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
