Bill: Parents for Orphans Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian-Socialist Coalition
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2203
Description[?]:
It is ludicrous that only heterosexual couples may adopt children. Try telling an orphan that they are being denied parents and a loving home because of government policy. Try telling a divorced but wealthy woman who has always wanted children that she is not fit to be a parent. Try telling a gay couple that orphans are better off languishing in an orphanage than they are living with them. This is a moral issue. Will you fight to give orphans a loving home? |
Proposals
Article 1
