Message | Mr Speaker, Article one of this act will stop anyone under the age of 17 from obtaining a part-time job while they complete their schooling. The current law on the books regulates the age that a child is allowed to begin working, what types of jobs they can work, and how many hours they can work. Article 3 is absolutely disgusting. There is absolutely no such thing as "positive" discrimination. We will not support a bill which forces the government to hire based on qutoas instead of merit.
