MessageMr Speaker,

Ignoringthe fact that this is an omnibus bill, which we never support on principle, this bill is just generally bad for Hutori.

Forcing everyone into DWCs and having the government run the stock market is bad for the economy. Not allowing the police to patrol public property is bad for the safety of Hutorians. Nationalising telephone lines is just another burden on the taxpayer, they will end up paying more for their phone service through increased taxes.

Overall, this bill is a garbage piece of legislation. I hope the Sutton Nationalists and the Labour Party still have a shread of common sense and will reject this terrible bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We would normally support our governing partners, however, they broke ranks with the Labour-SNP Coalition without talking with us first and helped to undo decades of free trade policies on which most parties used to agree. We therefore cannot support this bill - even though there are many provisions we would normally support. Votes have consequences. This is the consequence for not supporting the Labour-SNP coalition. We hope our coalition partners will continue to be just that - partners, and maintain their support within the coalition going forward.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "The root source of wealth is human ingenuity. This has no known bounds, so the amount of wealth in existence can always be increased. That's why capitalism is called 'making money.'" - Marc Geddes
