Message | Mr. Speaker, I am honestly appalled by the legislation that has been put up to vote today. This is a tragic breach of civil rights that Indralans have enjoyed for decades, and while I might understand the limitations on public intercourse and nudity, there is a clear sign that the real target of this legislation is the LGBT community. My party, in whatever form it takes, will always stand up for everyone who makes up this nation. We as government should not be erasing the existence of groups of people by removing their ability to become them just because a few members of society don’t like it. Furthermore, you move to pull out of treaty which protects our LGBT citizens, a move that I can only assume is to further limit the rights of more. Let me ask you then, who is next? The Kyo-Indralans? The Dinh? The Kunihito? Daenists? Women? We as a nation should be moving forwards, not back! And this puts us back centuries. Hua Feihong Party Leader Bamboo-Left Alliance |

Message | Mr. Speaker, So the Bamboo-Left Alliance believes in public sex? Your party honestly believes that people should be able to walk naked on the streets? i dont think so mr speaker, it is common decency to dissalow these practises and it is honorouble to the public itself to ban these in law. Liu Wuying Chairman of the CA |

Message | Mr. Speaker, While I personally would never commit such acts, we in the Bamboo-Left Alliance believe it’s ones personal right to do as they please, as long as it harms no one. However, if the Chairman of the Citizen’s Alliance would’ve opened their ears to listen to what I actually said, they would know that I recognised the legitimacy of concerns about public nudity and intercourse. And that my worries on the bill were actually over the criminalisation of a group of people who we as a nation are supposed to protect. Don’t used issues with public decency to cover up your party’s homophobia. Why don’t you jus come out of the closet and tell us that you are. Ms. Hua Feihong Party Leader Bamboo-Left Coalition |
