Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: June 4490
Description[?]:
My fellow parliamentary representatives, It is a birthright of all humans to be able to live life under the same rights as everyone else, so tell me, why are we so willing to throw people who have diseases or conditions or even just sicknesses due to weaker immune systems under the bus? We should not be encouraging poorer health for monetary reasons. We could easily solve any cost issues by using a similar solution to many nations before us, that being the government directly negotiating with pharmaceutical companies to reduce prices rather than it going directly from company to pharmacy. This would hurt our pharmaceutical sector, but we believe it is worth it for the health of our people. It is for these reasons we are so proud to propose. Jay White, Health and Social Services Delegate Speaker, United Democratic Party, Social Democrat Wing |
