Bill: Military and Warfare Reform of 4492

Details

Submitted by[?]: 第一新世界党 Daiichi Shinsekai Tō

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4493

Description[?]:

Two other proposals rescinded

1. Some nations are known to have vague, uninformed laws regarding POWs due to their lack of military prowess. In case the undesirable situation of going into war happens with these nations, we propose that we hold POWs of those countries and treat them fairly in accordance to international standards, instead of relying on the captor's country's laws due to their possibility of being not thorough.

2. Some objectors to conscription during wartime do this because they are willing to help the country but do not want to serve in combatant roles. We propose that opting for a noncombatant role in the military be an option.
