Message | Our party regretfully represents today that we must oppose, for the sake of our supporters and constituent, this proposed legislation. We strongly support Article 2, believing it is a positive step to promote religious freedom in this country, and further strengthen our Kamist and Gao-Showan syncretistic religious traditions. However, we cannot vote in favour of the legislation owing to Article 1. Schools are the bedrock of religious teaching and instruction, allowing non-Gao Showan religions, in particular, Orinco polytheism and Aurorianism, to spread their indoctrination and culturally-destabilising ideas to our progeny is a recipe for social strife and lack of cultural cohesion. Therefore, on the balance, our party has reached the determination that we must, regretfully oppose, owing to Article 1, notwithstanding our strong support for Article 2. - 石原 良吉、国民同盟党の幹事長 |

Message | Our party will be siding with the National People's Party; while we are fully in favour of the second article, the first is too large of a stress for us to agree completely. Had the first article been altered or, preferably removed, we would have no concerns for it whatsoever. - 李肇星、国家連盟の責任者 |
