Message | The party's proposals on segregated citizenship and the ban on multiple citizenship is a severe breach on our national values. We cannot vote for this proposal. |

Message | On the contrary, our party submits that we have strayed far from our national values. We want to build a patriotic citizenry, which means absolute loyalty and allegiance to only one country, one Emperor, one polity. Adopting the citizenship of another country often involves taking oaths of loyalty to other countries and States as part of that citizenship acquisition process, which undermines the supposed loyalty of a Sekowan to Sekouo and our Emperor. What we propose, moreover, is not 'segregated citizenship', but that citizenship of a country and national community, to be meaningful at all, must be grounded in something far more powerful than a mere legal piece of paper. We argue citizenship is meaningful only if it is grounded in one's kinship and the racial, biological tie that unites all ethnic Sekowans in this country, motivating them into a feeling of belonging and loyalty to this nation. To lack that biological tie is to lack that basic sense of belonging within a national community. - 桜井 美智雄、国民同盟党の総裁 |

Message | Although we would much rather prefer a less harsh version of these provisions, because they are at least in line with our beliefs, we shall vote yes. |
