Bill: HS-9: Public Housing Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori Socialists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4499

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

There are low-income families throughout Hutori that are homeless, particularly in our major cities. This is simply unacceptable. This Parliament must give these people a chance to get back on their own two feet by providing free public housing to them.

Everyone deserves a home.

MessageMr Speaker,

As it has been more than 12 months since the presentation of this bill and I believe that all parties have had sufficient time to deliberate its clauses, I will now proceed the vote on the Public Housing Act.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
