Bill: HS-13: Freedom of Assembly Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori Socialists

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4502

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

It is essential that our citizens have unrestricted freedom of assembly, no matter the circumstances. This is a civil liberty that serves as a core foundation of any flourishing democracy, and the current ability of the police to inhibit this under special circumstances is a violation of this freedom. We must give power back to the people!

- Alfredo Weiss (HS-FA)
Hutori Socialists spokesperson for Internal Affairs

MessageThis ties the hands of the police behind their backs. Furthermore this only proves my point that the socialist want an overtrown of the government if they arent the government.

MessageMr. Speaker,

My colleague seems to support the idea of people rioting in the streets, with damage to property and lives at risk, and with police under no obligation to intervene should this violence arise. Therefore, the People's Party votes against this bill.

Leader of the People's Party of Hutori
