| Dear Citizens, It is a sad day for us all that the Empress of the Kyo- Ishida Chin-sun has passed away at the age of 116. She was born in the year 4391 to Lord Ishida Kenjiro of Sekouo and (Future Empress) Taeyang Tam Hee during a time of great transition, when her Great Grand Uncle, the Late Honourable Yeonguijeong, Prince Yeong Tae Kyo who helped lead the nation when it was invaded in 4369 by Kazulia, was retiring from over 20 years of public service. During her childhood she observed the Imperial Centenary of 4497, commemorating the achievement of her ancestor, Taeyang the Great who overthrew the Tyrant Hong Seon-Ki, and establishing the Taeyang Dynasty. In her youth she spent her time studying at Imperial Universities the various subjects of diplomacy and the Noble arts of Literature, poetry, calligraphy, Sindo Religous ceramonies, and Flower Arranging. In her late 20's she would meet and eventually marry Heiji Katsura, son of the leader of the Noble Katsura Front, and together they had two children- Katsura Eun-Kyung in 4421 and Prince Katsura KokorozashiHan in 4422. During this time she raised her children to be exceptional citizens of the nation and nurtured their budding talents in their respective fields, with her daughter choosing to become an Agent of the Nine Tail Agency-the intelligence arm of the nation, and a Kyo-Pop singing sensation. Her Son would focus on becoming a Tae Kwon Do instructor and would found his own school of the tradition. Her life was not without difficulties though, as the Empire would be overthrown in 4457 and she and her mother had to be airlifted to family in Sekouo for their safety. In the ensuing aftermath, her mother abdicated, citing old age, and Ishida Chin-sun was proclaimed Empress of the Government-in-Exile based in Ishinawa, Sekouo. For years she resided in Sekouo and would become quite acquainted with Sekouoan Culture in the process. In 4462 her Mother passed on to the realm of the Spirits, joining her Ancestors. During this time she was separated from her daughter who had been sent on a culture promotion mission to Vanuku with her Husband and continues to reside there to this day. The two would not be able to see each other again due to security and concerns for the Empress' health until the Revolution of 4485 in which the Fists of Harmony and Justice and Popular Monarchist Front, fed up with years of corrupt government, restored the imperial dignity in part, within the constitutional framework of the Transitional Council of the State of Dankuk. Finally in 4489 the family would be reunited when her daughter traveled with great-grandchildren, who she met for the first time. During this time she spent time reconsecrating old sites that had been desecrated and would be the one to bless the rebuilt Taeyang Light Palace-which had been demolished by the Federation Regime. The restored palace was restored as close to original specifications as possible, though a tear was brought to the Empress' Eye as she recalled that some family paintings from her childhood had been lost forever in the aftermath. However, the Empress would not dwell long on these matters and would support the constitutional efforts of the various parties and the developing multi-party Democracy with various parties of the Union working together in Harmony to build a Happy and Prosperous Union.
