Description[?]:
Article 1) Upon this bill's passage private educational institutions have the right to be selective and or religious in nature if they so chose.. Article 2) With regards to private educational institutions the choice to attend such an institution must come from the student that will be attending. The choice can not be made for them by a parent or legal guardian. Article 3 Regulation will be restricted to the treatment of the students and the core educational curriculum. The Ministry of Education and Culture will not interfere with religious curriculum but, will make certain that core education such as science, mathematics, luthori and history are in line with national standards. Article 4) Private schools have the right to determine who attends based upon gender and or religious views. This does not extend to race or socioeconomic status. Article 5) Selective schools must clearly post the type of exclusivity they are promoting. (i.e. a Hosian school must say that it's Hosian, a boys school must say that is a boys school) Article 6) A selective school has no right to bar any individual acceptance except that based upon their clearly stated mission. Article 7) Every individual has the right to choose which school they attend and shall have the freedom to apply to any institution they wish. Article 8) School funding shall henceforth be attached to the student, whatever educational institution that student attends will be the recipient of that student's governmental funding. Regardless if that institution is public or private and or selective. |
